Catching up with family and friends

Whilst we were moored at Victoria Park it gave us a great opportunity to catch up with our London based family and friends. Rachel and Dave came on board and had dinner with us. We had a lovely evening catching up with them.

Then on Friday I went to Kim's house for a girlie catchup eve and then on Saturday we went back to the boat and celebrated with cake and bubbly.

In the evening we went to Westfield at Stratford and had a nice meal together at the Busaba Eathai.

John and I walked back through the Olympic park which looked lovely lit up at night.

On Sunday we met up with my cousin Emma and her husband Lockie and their 2 children Dylan and Maeve. We had a lovely walk to their house in Clapton Pond back along the towpath. We enjoyed a nice roast lunch and had blackberry and apple crumble which Maeve and I made from the blackberries picked along the way. Maeve liked styling my hair!
