Brentford

We have decided to stay a bit longer in Brentford as the weather hasn't been good, yesterday it poored down and we prefer to be fair weather boaters if possible! The area around the lock is really nice and we had brunch there yesterday at the Time Cafe.

On Friday evening we had a lovely time with Sarah and Roger who very kindly treated us to dinner at the Weir bar. It was lovely to catch up with them.

We sat in the garden which you can see above.
John went into the information centre which was in the old Toll House at the lock to learn all about the history of Brentford Gauging locks. He said it was really interesting. Brentford Gauging Locks and Toll House
