Back on board

So we got back to the boat on Sunday which was a lot later than planned due to having to sort a few problems at home in Wales. Unfortunately that's not the end of the problems as we discovered our main water pump has stopped working and so no running water! So now we are trying to get a new pump fitted which isn't proving that easy so far.. 😟 In the meantime we are managing with our 2 five gallon watercans, thankfully they were a recent purchase that has proved to be a lifesaver! Amazing though how you take running water for granted until it stops... so back to basics and boiling kettles for hot water.

On the plus side there are lovely walks we can take Dex on from here and a lot of wildlife to see, including 2 cormorants in a tree!
