Gnosall

Wednesday 11th July

As the car is in the garage here waiting for a new alternator to be fitted, we decided to stay put in Gnosall. It's a pretty village with a few shops including a co-op supermarket, post office and a doctor's, pharmacy and vets so everything you need really. Plus 5 pubs to choose from!

The Royal Oak Pub

This attractive old house used to be a pub years ago called the Duke's Head.
Brook House was quite impressive. Next door is a phone box book swap which was really well kept with all the books in alphabetical order by author!

The Children had planted sunflowers to encourage the bees. They had made their own bees on poles which looked quite effective.
The Old Post Office

The village clearly has a sense of humour too!
John and I had a lovely relaxing lunch sat in the pub garden at the Navigation Inn.
