Anniversary weekend

We decided to stay at Norton Junction Buckby wharf) for the weekend as it was our 5th wedding anniversary on 1st June and we really like the pub at Buckby wharf so we had a lovely leisurely lunch sat in the pub garden overlooking the canal. We were drinking rhubarb gin with ginger ale, delicious!

Then on Saturday John dropped me at Northampton station and I got the train to London to meet up with my cousin Sam who was over from Australia and also my other cousins, Emma, Frankie and Maeve and my friend Kim. I stayed at Kim's house overnight and it was a lovely weekend.

I got the train back on Sunday afternoon and John met me at Long Buckby. We had another great meal in the pub garden before going back to the boat for anniversary champagne 😁
